Today’s Topic: I explain why I’ve been a complete nincompoop not grabbing a free copy of Jay Hines’ Quick Tab Change software sooner

I’m just going to say it. I’m a nincompoop.

You see Jay Hines’ released a nifty piece of software called Quick Tab Change quite a while back and I never really paid much attention to it. I guess my thought process was that initially it didn’t really sound like it would make that much of a difference in my surfing. Or so I thought.

But I thought wrong.

Anyone who uses traffic exchanges as part of their marketing strategy knows how important it is to maximize your time while surfing. Surfing traffic exchanges is considered a *free* method of advertising, but it’s not really free when you consider that your time has a monetary value on it as well. Therefore, it’s of utmost importance to surf efficiently to maximize your return.

One way to surf more efficiently is to use a tabbed browser so you can surf several different traffic exchanges at once. Jay Hines’ software, Quick Tab Change, makes tabbed surfing even more efficient by allowing you to create a “hot key” on your keyboard that allows you to switch tabs much quicker than having to move your mouse and clicking. My personal favorite is to make the left windows key my hot key so I can rest one hand on my keyboard while my other hand uses the mouse to click the surf buttons. This actually allows you to spend more time looking at the websites too because your eyes don’t have to be focused on your mouse pointer going up to switch tabs.

I completely ignored this piece of software when it first came out because I didn’t really think it would make much difference. But after doing some initial tests, you really can surf about 40% more efficient this way. And that can add up to a lot more credits to advertise your websites with.

So do yourself a favor and check out Jay Hines’ Quick Tab Change by clicking here.

You’ll earn more advertising credits for the time you spend surfing. Oh, and your friends won’t call you a nincompoop!

Out with a splash,

By now you may be well aware of Darren Olander’s new launch, the Prosperity Marketing System. I’ve been playing around with it this evening, and have decided to give it a thumbs up.

If you’ve been a member of the Splash Page Reporter for any length of time, you know I never bombard your inboxes with every new program that launches. I’m very focused in my marketing efforts and I believe that lack of focus and jumping around from program to program is one of the biggest reasons people fail online.

I’m recommending Darren’s system today because it teaches and uses many of the marketing methods I teach myself. The biggest of those being that you need to promote YOU first. You should always be
building YOUR business, not someone else’s.

Darren gives you an incredible platform to do just that.

Take a minute to check it over. I think you’ll like what you see.

Thank you for being a valued subscriber to the Splash Page Reporter. I’ll continue to do my best to provide you with valuable information to help you get more signups and make more sales by promoting with splash pages in traffic exchanges.

Today’s tip is all about persistence and how it applies to splash pages.

I was thinking the other day (I do that occasionally ) about why people fail in this business. Looking back at my own experience, I discovered two main reasons. First, they give up too soon because they expect to see results too fast. Second, they become program jumpers and jump from new program to new program and never build a solid, recurring income in any of them.

Every day we’re bombarded with sales copy stating things like, “retire in 6 months”, “how I made millions in just days”, “how my list grew to 10,000 subscribers in one week”, etc. This makes it easy to get caught in the mindset of getting rich overnight. Although these types of things can and do happen, they’re very much the exception rather than the rule, and there’s almost always factors at play that we’re not told.

Build your business consistently over time rather than searching for that “magic button” that doesn’t really exist. When using splash pages, give them time to work. You’ll often see better results once your page has been rotating for a week or two. Also promote daily because results can vary day by day and at different times of the day. Events such as holidays can also affect your results in either a positive or negative way, so you need to stick with it so you hit the good days and not just the bad
ones.

Focus on getting just 1 or 2 new signups a day instead of getting disappointed and giving up when you don’t have 1,000 people on your list or in your downline after a month. Don’t let bad days discourage you. There’s going to be days where you promote like crazy and get zero results. It happens. That’s just the nature of traffic exchanges. But the next day, you might promote just as much and get 10 signups.

—–
A Quick Splash Page Reporter Tip!
If you’re not getting results try assigning your credits at different times of the day to capture a different audience.
—–

Once you get the ball rolling, your business will grow faster and faster, but you need to create some momentum. This is virtually impossible if you jump from program to program.

Ideally find a reason and a way to build a list using splash pages. Focus on sending your traffic to those pages rather than trying to spread your traffic exchange credits over 5 or 10 different programs. You’ll see better results. You can promote everything else on the back end, but you should always focus on building YOUR OWN list first. Then protect it with your life.

Read and learn something new every single day. Never toss in the towel!

Out with a splash,
Derek
